Padel United UK Maldon

The Story of Padel at Maldon in Essex goes back to 2018, and 3 iterations to become the 4 court centre, with 3 covered courts that is Padel United UK today.

A Padel revolution in Essex? Sort of.

It’s one that has continued a pace since the first RT Padel centre started life at Park Drive Padel Club, opening in August 2018 at Maldon, Essex with the motto to ‘live the padel life’; and they surely did with 3 courts and a great community venture, seeing 100 players regularly playing padel and perhaps the biggest junior section of players in the country.

RT Padel soon became Go Padel in 2019, and the growth of the Junior membership and community sessions continued, with notable young players Nikhil Mohindra and Sam Jones cutting their teeth as players and coaches at the club.

The Home of Padel Tour start here in May 2021, and this is a great story of growing the participation in competition, and now growing the profile of elite players in UK Padel.

A 4th court, a panoramic show court was installed in September 2021, then from November 2021 canopies were added over 3 of the 4 courts here as GoPadel became the UK arm of Padel United,

And whirlwind story of Padel in the East, some of the trend setters in the padel club business.
