Polzeath is a long way from West London, but it is a well-trodden path so of course one of the most successful club operators in UK Padel has taken the 260 mile, 4.5 hour trip to Polzeath to open two padel courts in partnership with the Point at Polzeath.
And so the self-dubbed Padel revolution of Cornwall began breaking ground in May 2022 on the second padel club and opened in the summer, utilising under used tennis courts in a prime position near the clubhouse. Once again, the model will be to allow members of the public to use the courts.
Rocks Lane have also opened courts at Trevose golf club, as if they are attempting a padel pincer movement on the town of Padstow. So four new padel courts within around 40 minutes of each creating a summer time padel scene and more for sure.
