Will to Win, Hyde Park

Wales’ first dedicated padel centre opened in Cwmbran in January 2022, reducing the travel time for Welsh padel fans to their nearest courts, to portugal by private Jet or to East Gloucestershire by several hours if you factor in the round trip.

Free changing rooms and online booking make it easy to come and use the 6 tennis courts or the Padel court. Or indeed the table tennis table, AstroTurf (ideal for 5-a-side football, netball or similar activities), or the six rink lawn bowling green. The long winter evenings need not put you off either — all of the courts and the Astro-Turf are floodlit.

They even offer Padel drop-in sessions where you can do just that, and drop-in when the time is convenient for you. The Bowling Green Café, meanwhile, offers freshly prepared, delicious food and the finest hand-roasted Union Coffee.

What’s more (perhaps rashly supposing that the coffee can be bettered), an experienced coaching team provides a comprehensive programme of adult and junior weekly drill sessions, courses, clinics, holiday camps, tournaments, and private lessons – all designed to help you and your children stay healthy, have fun and raise your game.

Tournaments and leagues are also a key attraction at the club, and a great way to meet like minded people in the big smoke. All in all, a terrific gem in the Padel world.

Will to Win offers an innovative way to play Padel — pay and play. Situated in one of London’s royal parks, it’s ideal if you want to pop down after work or in a lunch break.
