The UK Padel Youth Tour is our kick starter event to get the best Juniors playing Padel in a tour format, with a twist.

What is an Americano? It’s where you play with multiple partners to a certain number of points, in this case 11, instead of traditional games or sets. You can enter on your own and play in a fast and furious competition and we tally the points up at the end to create the Leaderboard.

At each of the 4 UK PADEL LTA YOUTH TOUR Leaderboard Events this year we will also be training with all the players at the start of the event, as well as giving out free coaching and intro sessions to local children with our Academy team led by Jared Robinson.

Players who play in 3 or more Leaderboard events will be eligible to be crowned UK PADEL YOUTH TOUR Leaderboard Champion for 2023.

With many of the juniors coming from tennis and jumping on a padel court for the first time, it was amazing to watch the seamless transition between the sports.

“Being a relatively new sport amongst juniors, it could be a daunting experience putting yourself out there. I was particularly proud of the girls who gave it a go, and loved every minute of it. Being a doubles sport, it is a welcoming environment for juniors to learn and grow without the weight of individual competition.

The energy and fun that filled the courts all day long is a testament to the incredible experience that padel offers our young athletes. It’s not just a game, it’s an opportunity to belong to something new, gain new skills and compete all in a relaxed social environment. The junior players not only honed their skills on the court but also made new friends and connections that will last far beyond this tournament”
