Jet Padel is not a public club, but it is well worthy of a mention in UK Padel as it is run by people who are involved with clubs up and down the country and around the world and it’s existence will no doubt lead to more Padel courts and clubs in the UK. Jet Padel is a private court and a very cool place to play padel if you can swing an invite, a real community of local residents just playing on a private court, with a Jet fighter plane next to it. Yes, that’s right a Jet Provost trainer plane.
We aren’t quite sure why, even though we have enjoyed a game on the court and met the man behind the court, Neil Morgan, on a number of occasions. Â
High tech padel! The BAC Jet Provost was a Jet trainer aircraft used by the RAF between 1955 and 1993. Want more? It was originally developed by Hunting Percival from the earlier piston engine -powered Percival Provost basic trainer.Â
That’s all we’ve got on planes, but if you can get on here you should be in for a treat and playing on a court that was transported to the UK with the help of the one and only Stratford Padel team.
