UK PADEL NEWS

Solihull Arden Club

In an obscure, yet refined Birmingham suburb, a lively rackets club nurtures the locals, body and soul. The club prides itself on its friendly social atmosphere while maintaining strong competitive spirits with fiercely fought internal ladders and tournaments.

For many years now, it has seen a thriving community of squash and tennis enthusiasts grow as players, but in the stifling pits of the pandemic, the club decided that it was time to offer to members and non-members alike, a new challenge. In Summer 2021, Solihull Arden opened the first of three Padel courts.

The club has seen a rapid rise in the number of people playing the sport. Already, it has a well-established internal league, and has thrown itself into team matches with other clubs.

As with so many things, the Covid situation has spurred the club to reach out to people with renewed zeal, and people have responded in kind. There has never been a better time to get involved with the UK PADEL movement.
